Terms of Use

1. Who you are dealing with

This site is published and operated by My Travel Innovations LLC, an Idaho limited liability company filed with the Idaho Secretary of State, whose office is at 950 W Bannock St, Boise, ID 83702. It trades as My Travel Innovations. Where these terms say we or us, they mean that company.

Using this site, or asking us for a quote, means these terms apply between us.

2. What we are, and what we are not

We act as an agent. We arrange and book travel on your behalf with the companies that operate it: airlines, hotels, cruise lines and tour operators. We are independent of all of them.

We do not operate any part of any trip. We do not own or control an aircraft, a vessel, a vehicle, a room or a tour, and we are not affiliated with any company that does. No supplier has authorized us to represent it and this site displays no supplier's name, logo or branding.

We hold no license, bond, industry accreditation or seller of travel registration, and no number of any of those kinds appears anywhere on this site. Idaho does not license travel agencies.

3. Prices and quotes

Prices on this site are shown as from a figure, per person, based on two people sharing. They are starting figures for the season named on each package page, drawn from arrangements we have recently made. They are not offers and they are not held for you.

A quote we send you is an offer from the supplier for as long as that supplier holds it, and the proposal says how long that is. Availability and fares, particularly airfares, change continuously and neither of us controls them. The figure in your written proposal governs. Anything on this site that differs from it is superseded by it.

We may correct an obvious error in a price or a description at any time before a booking is confirmed, including after you have asked us to proceed. If we do, you may withdraw without any charge.

4. Payment

We take no payment. There is no card field anywhere on this site, no account and no wallet, and no payment is made to this office at any point.

You pay the supplier directly, on the schedule set out in your proposal, and the supplier's name appears on the payment. Deposits and balance dates are set by them, not by us. A missed balance date is generally treated by suppliers as a cancellation by you.

We are paid a commission by the supplier when a booking completes. Nothing is added to your price by us.

5. Booking and what confirms it

Nothing is booked until you tell us in writing to proceed and we confirm in writing that it is done. A conversation, a telephone call or an unanswered mail does not create a booking.

Your booking is subject to the supplier's own conditions of carriage, tariff or booking terms, which we will give you before you commit. Those conditions are between you and them.

6. Changes, cancellation and refunds

The supplier's terms govern, in full, and they differ enormously between trips. What comes back to you if you cancel is decided by their schedule and not by us. We cannot waive, override or refund on their behalf, because we never held the money.

We will always show you the applicable terms before you commit, and show you what a change or cancellation produces in figures before it is made. The whole of how this works.

We do not advertise flexible cancellation, because the flexibility is not ours to offer.

7. Delivery of documents

Everything we produce is delivered electronically, to the mail address you give us, at no charge. There is nothing physical to ship and no delivery fee at any point.

Your itinerary comes as one document with the addresses, times and reference numbers on it. Tickets and boarding documents are issued by the supplier and reach you either with it or directly from them; your proposal says which. If something has not arrived when it should have, tell us and we will chase it.

8. Travel documents and entry requirements

You are responsible for holding valid travel documents. Passports, any visa or entry authorization, and any health requirement for your destination are yours to obtain and yours to check against official sources for your own nationality.

We will tell you what we understand the requirements to be and we will point you at the official source. We do not provide immigration, visa or legal advice, and we are not a substitute for the issuing authority. A traveler refused boarding or entry for want of a document is not something a supplier refunds, and it is not something we can recover.

9. Insurance

Travel insurance is arranged with an insurer, not with this office. The certificate the insurer issues is the document that governs it. It is not compulsory and buying it is your decision. Any policy is a contract between you and the insurer; read the certificate, and note that cover for a condition you already know about generally has to be bought early.

10. Using this site

You may read it, print it and use it to contact us. You may not copy it substantially, scrape it, republish it, or use it to build a competing listing. The text, the layout and the photographs are ours.

Do not send us anything through this site that is unlawful, that impersonates somebody else, or that is not yours to send.

11. Outside services

Parts of this site may be served or supported by outside providers, and the flight search on the front page is operated by an outside booking service rather than by us, on a subdomain of this address. Where that is so, that provider's own terms and privacy practices apply to what it does, alongside ours. What that means for your information.

Where this site links to another website, we do not control it and are not responsible for it.

12. Accuracy

We take care over what is written here and we check it. Travel information dates, and a page that was right when it was reviewed can be overtaken by a supplier's change. The proposal we send you is the current document. This site is a description of what we do, not a live inventory.

13. Liability

We are responsible to you for arranging your booking with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations or failures of the suppliers who operate your trip, nor for events outside anybody's control, including weather, strikes, mechanical failure, port and road closures, and government action.

Nothing here excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing here affects any right you have under Idaho or United States federal law.

14. Complaints

Write to care@mytravelinnovations.com saying plainly what went wrong. You will get a written answer from this office within five business days. Please raise it with us before anywhere else, so we have the chance to put it right.

15. Governing law

Idaho law applies to this agreement, together with the federal law of the United States. Proceedings belong in the courts sitting in Ada County. None of that removes a right you hold to bring a claim somewhere else where the law gives you one.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update this page. The date at the top says when it was last reviewed, and the version in force is the one published when you asked us to act.
