Why the room configuration is the whole trip
Almost every complaint we have ever heard about a family beach week comes down to the same thing: four people in one room, and a booking that said a rollaway would be provided.
So on this package the room comes first and the property comes second. If a resort cannot confirm connecting rooms or a suite in writing at the price we are quoting, we quote a different resort. That is not a service promise, it is just the order the work is done in.

This is a starting figure for the season shown. The final price is confirmed in writing before anything is booked and depends on your dates, the number travelling and what is available when we ask. How a price is put together.
The transfer is the second thing
The coast runs a long way south. A property near the airport is forty minutes from arrivals; one near Tulum can be ninety, and after a day of flying with children those fifty minutes are longer than they sound.

What we will tell you without being asked
That the ruins are worth a morning and unbearable at midday. That the water park excursions everybody sells are fine and are cheaper booked there than here. That the property's kids club almost certainly closes one day a week, and which day. None of that makes us money. It is just the difference between a week that works and a week that does not.
